ESNE is a point of reference in higher education in the areas of Design, Innovation and Technology. In 2020 we were awarded the National Price x design and innovation, becoming the first school to recieve such honour individually.
We offer undergraduate, master and postgraduate courses in the fields of design and technology and communication.
At ESNE there are 7 degrees and 4 masters and postgraduate degree.
All our programmes are articulated though ECTS credits and are therefore valid in Europe.
The academic staff meets the level of excellence demanded by the National Agency for Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) and our lecturers are professionals with vast experienced in the creative and technological industries.
The relationship with the industry is key at ESNE, and as a result many professionals support our institution by offering our students internships, the participation in competitions, or access to job opportunities after graduation. Every year several recruitment sessions are celebrated, where companies meet the talent of our students in person. Also, a very frequent type of collaboration is the participation in new joint ventures or research projects. Some outstanding collaborating companies are Loewe, Carrefour, Inditex, Designit, Telefonica or Pepe Jeans.
Since its foundation, ESNE has been extended to initiatives of academic cooperation with other universities, as well as the organization of international events or the participation in global networks such as Cumulus International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media.

ESNE is ground-breaking in adapting academic programs within the area of Design, Fashion and Technology to the Bologna Process, meeting, in this manner, the needs of a demanding market of highly qualified professionals.
ESNE-University School of Design, Innovation, and Technology is located at 97, Avenida de Alfonso XIII, in Distrito de Chamartín, in the center of Madrid, near M30 and the metro station "Colombia".
ESNE offers the latest technology in Digital Fabrication at the FAB LAB. This space is fully equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC, among others, and is included in the international network of the Fab Foundation originally launched by the MIT. Fashion design students can also use Shima Seiki’s computerized machines, the latest Japanese technology for knitwear. The computer labs are equipped with either Windows or Apple OS, and some classrooms also include Cintiq drawing tablets. The last floor hosts the Fashion Atelier, where students can use irons, sewing machines and large tables for cutting patterns and drawing.
The library includes the most relevant volumes for every field. Also ESNE is subscribed to the main magazines, as well as to two of the most important databases for designers, Material ConneXion and WGSN.
ESNE has signed over 60 inter-institutional agreements for academic cooperation and students / staff mobility in particular, in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA.
Our trajectory in student exchange at the undergraduate level is extensive and it is supported by a broad network of international partners in different countries, and the support from the Erasmus+ program for mobilities within the European territory, as determined by the Erasmus+ regulations.
Under the Erasmus+ program, Higher Education Institutions from program countries can apply for funded Staff Mobility periods at ESNE. Professors from non-Europeaninstitutions can also apply for a teaching or training stay at ESNE as long as there is an agreement between institutions.
